Topographic Survey

When is this required?

• Typically at the start of a job

What is it useful for?

• As part of any development a good topography survey is a critical step, the survey tells you where your boundaries are located and the height of various features on your property. It allows all other consultants, such as architects and engineers to complete their modelling design.

The Process

• We do some preliminary calculations in our office on your property.
• We then come to your site and our surveying team will mark at your property. Most surveyors generally take 1 day of time.
• We will then put all of the information into a plan and issue you with a pdf and DWG copy of your survey.

Timeframe

General – 2-3 weeks

Provided that we have all information as listed below, we aim to have the topographic survey issued within 2 – 3 weeks. Upon booking this, we will be in touch with you to discuss the exact date that the topographic survey can be completed.

Express Service – 1 week

Need it done urgently. We offer an express service that will prioritse your job in our queue. The fee for this service is $600 + GST for the report in addition to the charge listed above.

Premium – 1 week

For our premium clients, we aim to have the topograhic surveys issued within one week.

Price Information

Our price is based on the following assumption

• $1,800 for a site up to 1,000m2 located within 1 hour of our offices on the North Shore.

Location
Auckland and areas 2 hours away from Auckland. Allow $200 extra for each hour from Auckland CBD to account for our travel distance.

Size

If you site is larger than 1,000m2, then the price will increase as it will take longer to survey.

1,000m2 – 2,500m2 – Base Rate $2,400 + GST

2,500m2 – 5,000m2 – Base Rate $2,800 + GST

5,000m2 – 30,000m2 – Base Rate $3,000 – 5,000 + GST (Depending on the site, the larger sites have a larger price variance)

30,000m2 – Contact us for a price, we generally offer discounts on larger pieces of work
