Junior-Intermediate Civil Engineer

With our increasing workload of development and infrastructure projects in both New Zealand (Auckland and beyond) and Fiji, we are now seeking a Junior to Intermediate Level Civil Engineer to join our growing team in our Auckland office.

The role will focus on land development, however there is scope to scale the role to suit the applicant’s experience and confidence. Equally, there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to manage their own projects from concept through to completion and also to work as on projects as part of a larger team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a junior-intermediate level Civil Engineer
  • has a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in land development
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • has a positive attitude and work ethic
  • is currently eligible to work in NZ

It would be an advantage to have:

  • strengths in AutoCAD drafting/design, flood modelling (HEC-RAS, XPSWMM)
  • sound engineering judgment and an effective working knowledge of engineering principals, practices and standards
  • strong written and oral communication skills

Graduate Fire Engineer

We are seeking a Graduate Fire Engineer to work in our Auckland office. In this role, your responsibilities will encompass Acceptable and Performance-Based Solutions and preparation of Building Consent Fire Engineering Documentation. Client liaison (both internal and external) is also an important aspect of the role.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an intermediate-level degree-qualified Fire Engineer, or working towards qualification
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • is currently eligible to work in NZ

It would be an advantage to have:

  • experience in NZ within the Fire Engineering industry, with a good working knowledge of NZ standards and codes
  • A Master’s Degree in Fire Engineering
  • Advanced Fire Modelling with B-Risk
  • FDS modelling experience

Land Surveyor

Are you a Land Surveyor with 3-5+ years’ experience wanting to take your career to the next level?

Over recent years we have developed our survey team as part of our multi-disciplinary team of 40+ staff who enjoy a friendly and sociable environment. We pride ourselves on our work ethic and high standard of integrity, looking after our staff and our culture. We are seeking a Land Surveyor to work from our Auckland office. In this role, your responsibilities will include performing both Land Transfer and setout work on a variety of Land Development and infrastructure projects. Client liaison (both internal and external) is also an important aspect of the role.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has between 3 and 5 years’ experience with or without a degree-qualification in Land Surveying.
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • is currently eligible to work in NZ
  • enjoys both the comfort of the office and the outdoor life.

It would be an advantage to have:

  • experience in NZ within the Land Development industry, with a good working knowledge of council’s district planning requirements and LINZ searching and lodgement process.
