Chester Consultants worked alongside the architects at Gecko Design Ltd to build new commercial shops and an apartment building on Rangatira Road. The aim was to create a building that optimised the useable space of the existing site. The materials that were used for the project included precast concrete panels and a strong steel portal frame structure, while soil conditions on the Rangatira site meant that we needed to use deep pile foundations as well.
