Ryan Lundy
Civil Team Leader
NZCE (Civil), MEngNZ
Ryan has a proven track record of delivering civil design solutions in challenging environments having worked on various projects that have included difficult topography, heavy contamination, sensitive receiving environments, areas of archaeological significance and undertaking construction in major industrial hubs.
With over 20 years of experience implementing creative, sustainable and environmental solutions in the UK, the Pacific Islands and New Zealand, Ryan looks to bring a passion to every project.
He was a key member of the design team that help deliver a multi award winning large scale housing development in the UK that met key financial, sustainable, ecological, and health and safety project objectives.
In addition to design, Ryan has also presented at public and stakeholder meetings to ensure there is engagement and clarity around engineering design and project aspects. He has worked closely with stakeholders to come up with solutions that look at problems in a different way to achieve the right result. Having worked extensively under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations in the United Kingdom and attended Safety in Design training in New Zealand, Ryan is very familiar with working collaboratively with the design and construction teams to help identify constraints early in the project and streamline workflow both in the office and on site.
Away from work Ryan is an avid sports fan who attempts to play golf and enjoys playing competitive tennis all year round when not ferrying his teenage kids around.
