Chester provided the civil, fire and structural engineering for this school in Takanini. A key design feature was using a network of swales to dispose of stormwater instead of using a piped network. Structurally there were many difficulties due to the ground conditions and some innovative solutions had to be implemented to overcome these problems. Chester had to coordinate with the neighboring developments to ensure the best practical outcome for all those involved.
